Children's Ministry

GFCC Children's Ministry is currently following health and safety protocols regarding COVID-19. If you have any questions, please contact Mindy Sarlea at mindy@gfcc.net.  


We are currently open for children's programming during our 5:30pm service on Saturday and our 11:00 a.m. service on Sunday. We provide fun, age-appropriate, and Bible-based lessons to children from birth to fifth grade. Our mission is to help children follow Jesus.


Each children's ministry volunteer must pass a background check.

Kids for Christ

Kids for Christ is our Elementary-aged youth group for grades K-5 that takes place on Thursday evenings. KFC focuses on helping children follow Jesus. We sing songs, have a video Bible lesson, and learn about God's love for children. 


Kids for Christ takes place in the spring and fall.

United For Christ

UFC is our Middle/High school youth group. We meet on Wednesday evenings where we discuss the Bible and how it applies to the lives of students. Pastor Shawn Cornett leads this group. If you have any questions, please reach out to him at shawncornett@gmail.com.


We will be meeting on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30pm in the Youth Room on 1/13, 1/20, 1/27, 2/3, 2/10, 2/17, 2/24, 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, and

5/19.

Homework Club

Homework Club is for grades Kindergarten-5th grade. We have skilled and knowledgeable volunteers to provide students with homework and extra support in specific subjects.  


We will be meeting from 3:00-4:15pm on 1/14, 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/18, 2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 4/8, 4/15, 4/22, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13, and 5/20.


Little Helpers Big Hearts

Little Helpers Big Hearts is currently not meeting due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. We want to keep the children safe during this crisis.
